    Pete- Chief Technology Officer

    Sidekick #PartCartPete

My name is Pete. My favorite season is Autumn. There’s nothing like a Fall day when the sun illuminates a blue sky, dressed with a sprinkling of clouds. The sky’s backdrop, combined with an array of autumn colors (orange, yellow, amber, etc…) and a subtle breeze reminds me to be thankful that I’m alive.

My favorite hobby is playing guitar. I’ve been playing guitar for over 30 years and I’m constantly learning more and getting re-inspired. To me, music and guitar-playing is the perfect blend of math, rote skills, and art.  To be good, you have to learn and understand “technique” and “theory” and you also have to "put in the time" and practice. At the same time, good players must also be creative, expressive, and put their own “artistic stamp” into what they they create.

My favorite movie is “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.” Gene Wilder was an amazing actor and person; I was saddened by his recent passing. I have internalized many quotes from the movie which I often overuse in my vocabulary... “So much time and so little to do. Wait a minute. Strike that. Reverse it.” For the record, I am NOT a fan of the remake with Johnny Depp...Creepy!

My favorite vacation spot is “Sunset beach” in Inlet, NY (the Adirondack Mountains).  My grandparents took my parents to this group of “lake-front” cottages in the 1950’s and our family has kept the tradition going ever since. We spend a week together every summer eating great food, climbing mountains, swimming in the lake, gathering by camp fires, and having a great time.

My favorite quote is from Winston Churchill. “A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity; an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty.” This quote resonates with me as I see myself as an optimist. I believe that hard-work and overcoming adversity builds character, and makes one stronger and more appreciative of the simple things in life...Simple things like: enjoying a Fall day, or having fun on a summer night in the Adirondacks while playing guitar around a campfire. If I only had less time to do all those complicated things..."Strike that, Reverse it!”!

    Aaron - Developer

    Sidekick #KingBee

My name is Aaron. I spend most of my time thinking about how to solve problems with software and technology. To get away from it all, I enjoy being outside hiking and hunting. This is particularly true in the spring and fall during the change of seasons.  I also like to travel and see new places, often looking for off the wall and obscure sights and landmarks. One of my more recent trips that I often reflect about was a trip to Alaska. With it's beauty, majesty and grandeur, it's easy to see why it's truly the last frontier.

    Brendon - Developer

    Sidekick #HoneyBadger

I am Brendon- I have a wonderful wife, Amy, two beautiful children Gavin (13) and Rorey (10), and a Shih Tzu, Beckett (5). When not working or driving the kids to their sports events or school activities, I do a lot of sports related things. This may be watching football, basketball, or hockey or keeping up with my fantasy football teams. I also like to try and stay in shape working out a few times a week. Summer has to be the best season and Breaking Bad is the best show of all time.

    Jim K - Trade Specialist

    Sidekick #KnappTime

My name’s Jim Knapp, in the office they call me Jim.  I don’t know where they got that one from, but it suits me.  I’m partial to being outside, regardless of the season.  As long as I can remember I’ve been a tree freak.  Being older I’ve stopped climbing them, but I spend a lot of time trying to identify & learn about them.  In that vein my favorite hobbies are hiking & kayaking.  A great place to do those things is Acadia National Park in Maine.

    John K - Database Coordinator

    Sidekick #JohnnyData

My name’s John, my office nickname is Johnny Data because that's what I do....data. Repair data, part data, pricing data, all kinds of data. My favorite season is fall because I married the love of my life in October and I love the beauty of fall foliage. My favorite hobby is playing the chromatic harmonica, music is a blessing to me. My wife and son are my best human friends in the world and my German Shepherd Dog is my best furry friend. Favorite movie? Shawshank Redemption, favorite TV show? Seinfeld. My favorite quote is by Albert Einstein: "There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is."  I choose the latter.

Blaine - Technical Support Specialist II

    Sidekick #IncredibleSkulk

My name is Blaine. My favorite season would have to be summer because I like to get in as much camping as I possibly can. Some of my favorite camping places are Yellowstone and Yosemite national parks. Camping also lends to my other hobbies of birding and photography.  My favorite movie is Forrest Gump. My favorite quote is from Hunter S. Thompson’ “When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro”.
